JLJ are back baby! First game since 2022 and we were absolutely gagging for it - watching the World Cup was good but we needed cans, fans, and karaage.
What a pleasure to be back at the National Stadium, this time for the Fuji Film Super Cup 2023 between Yokohama F Marinos and Ventforet Kofu. We've seen both teams quite a fair few times, but with full cheering back in the J League and an almost full house of 51,000, it was beyond what we were expecting. Especially with the 38 year old J League legend Peter Utaka smashing up the gaff. Hero.
Special shout out to everyone who we met on the day (Mika, Bayashiko, J. Football Now), and especially to our good mate Takumi for once again us giving a great interview.　
Roll on the 2023 season - we can't wait for it.
