Fujifilm 100 400mm lens +1 4 Extender Review with sample images.

Hi Mick..I'm wondering if you're satisfied with your 1.4x teleconverter or do wish for the 2.x tc. I'm getting the 70-300mm fuji lens and I'm having a debate between the 2 TC and the 1.4 Thanks for your reply.

I am happy with the 1.4 and don't regret it, the 70-300 looks useful I have the 55 - 200mm but cannot use the tele converter. I may have to sell the 55-200 and get this new lens and if it suits me sell the 100-400 as its a big beast.

What aperture are you at with a 2x? It a bit of a learning curve and I shall try a tripod to see how I get on.

Hi Mick, the little bird you couldn’t identify was a long tailed tit.. Just about to purchase the 100-400mm lens as like you I want more reach than the 55-200mm gives me.
