thanks! the xt30 is quite solid and small and have the 4th generations goodies. Quite simular to the x-e4 spec wise. how ever price wise it's quite close to the x-t3 and there you get an iso dial, 10bit film, and weather sealing. personally for me that series of cameras never made any sense for me, but I never tried them..

Decent overview. I've contemplated selling mine a few times but I always draw a blank about what I'd replace it with. That's usually a good sign I should just keep it.

Thank you for a thoughtful review. I will certainly stick with my x-e3 as I’m not at all interested in video and like the ergonomics and shooting control I get wit it.

thanks for commenting! I decided to sell my xe4 for that reason. The x100v popularity have ousgmhed up the pricees on it.

I think it's nice to see some dirt and how things looks after usage, GxAce is cool defently someone I had in mind when this whole ai thing popped up. My thought is to make my ai clone a character of it self on my channel

@@venom2k2 Thanks! inspire and getting inspired by other fellow photographers and none photographers is what it's all about. Many years ago i came across a series in Vimeo called "Everything is a Remix" It has an interesting touch on creativity i strongly recommend anyone to watch it. I bet it can be found on KZbin aswell

The joystick is far too small for my taste, but never having owned its predecessor I'm not sure I'd criticise it for failing to re-centre the focus point by a single press. I possess several other cameras and none of them do this by default either. But let's be honest, the recent popular re-appraisal of this model has got more to do with the lack of supply of certain others than it being outstanding at anything in particular. For me to get it to function comfortably and effectively, especially with the 16mm f/1.4, I need to attach the hand grip. Without that, the camera only really works with your 27mm f/2.8 and a handful of alternative slow primes. It was never going to be a massive success although compared to the X-Pro3 it's fairly good value for money and as you say, the sensor and processor are very good.

Regarding the joystick size, that's something I never thought about, but like most other stuff, it's highly subjective. About the joystick re-center function - I've had that on every single camera I've used since the days of the first Canon 5D. All the cameras I have around me do it, including the Nikon DF, D700, Canon 5D series (1-4), Sony A7sIII, A7, A7iv, and other Fuji cameras. I believe this is a function that you have to turn on in some cameras, and that's how I've done it for ages. So, it surprised me that the X-E4 doesn't do it. When I researched it, I saw that the Fuji X-S10 acts the same. But what annoyed me might not bother some others. There is absolutely no doubt that the popularity of the X100, especially on platforms like TikTok, has affected the market. This trend has led to an increase in the prices of other Fuji cameras. And yes, the X-E4 pairs well not just with the 27mm but also with Fuji's f/2 primes. It's a good camera. Personally, though, I do miss some features from the X-E3. The X-E series cameras are great when you just want a small camera. I think I will go back to using the X-E3. I just sold the X-E4 and am going to get an X-S20 mainly for the film specs.

The AI voiceover is so weird, it dips into lots of different accents

yes it is, but I think it adds to the character the talking head shots are 100% ai so it's not only the voice over. when I did my first video with a many people didn't realised or thought about it. that's why I decided to change the style for the ai content. I want to produce more KZbin content but lack the time in relation to the income. it brings I think ai can open up for possibilities here. It pretty fun to use ai to actually create content that has a substance to it. how do you feel about looking at ai generated content like this?

@@Kim_Alexander It feels unusual. I haven't understood it straight out. And just thought that's kinda style. Only then looked closer and noticed. I think it's interesting. This review has its authentic style and entourage.
