Cheers Jorge! I own an X100, bought it used. Was my first Fujifilm camera and it made me change from Nikon to Fujifilm. I still shoot with it to date. @@Jorge-Perez Hi Jorge, Yes speed is a thing but not in a bad way. AF is slower then the X100V and saving to memory is quite slow but that aint bad. In fact it slows you down to a more relaxing way of taking/making pictures :) I love both camera's, both for freetime stuff but the X100V i will use as a work camera too (like portraits and weddings) And you know what? the X100 line makes me feel more like a photographer then my Xt1 and Xt3 (but i dont tell them lol)

Back button focusing is fantastic! One thing I don't quite understand though. So i prefer to shoot through the optical view finder and the one digital assist there that is helpful is the indicator of green when I have the center thing in focus. I get this using the auto focus but then I hate how slow it is. With back button focusing, do you have to use the LCD screen to frame shots in order to know that your target is actually in focus before shooting?

It's around 11-13 stops depending of the dynamic range selected on the camera menu. Hola Jorge, un favor, no logro cambiar la opción de hacer fotos en Manual a Program (o alguna otra opción). Gracias por adelantado!
@Jorge-Perez3 жыл бұрын
There's no settings like that on Fuji cameras thankfully. Let's say you set the aperture to F4 with shutter auto and iso auto, that means aperture priority mode. If you set your iso to a specific number, with auto aperture and auto shutter, that means program mode, etc it's very intuitive and does not require you to navigate camera menus and unnecessary settings. That's the reason why the fuji cameras have manual dials for everything. Hope that helps, let me know if you're still figuring things out and thanks for watching! 🙌🏼✨

@@Jorge-Perez hi, thanks for your quick answer. I might be doing something wrong but, as how is set now, MANUAL, the camera doesn’t show options if I put any f number to make it aperture priority mode. Thanks again!

I just tried it to make sure: it works. First, to display your settings correctly (The numbers for iso, shutter and aperture on the screen) press the DISP/BACK button and choose your preferred way to see things. Mine is called "Info Display" If you put both the aperture ring on "A" and shutter speed ring on "A", you will see a "P"at the bottom left of the camera screen (Program mode). I you choose a specific aperture, let's say "F4" on the lens dial, set the shutter speed dial to "A", and ISO "A", you will see the letter "A" at the bottom left of the camera screen (Aperture Priority mode) If you set all the rings to specific values, let's say "F4", "1/1000th" sec shutter, and ISO "640" (random values just for the sake of the example) you will see the letter "M" at the bottom left of the camera screen (Manual mode) Hope that helps! and good luck! @@Jorge-Perez I have an M9P. It's an interesting camera an hearkens back to the earlier days of photography. I'm older so I remember the old days of rangefinders and when SLRs were a big new deal. It's a well made camera with amazing glass but also a bit of a disappointment. Of course there was the sensor corrosion issue but as great as Leica's were as film cameras, electronics and technology just isn't their strength. Of course that's a huge deal in digital cameras. I don't care about the prestige aspect of owning one. I am disappointed in the colour science. The Fujifilm offers a similar experience (perhaps without the prestige, if that matters) but they know how to do electronics. I also much prefer the colour science and general look of the photos. This is also very true of the Nikon Z7. The Z7 offers the size and weight of the Leica but as a tool does everything and does it outstandingly. I have an adapter to use my Leica lenses and also have Zeiss lenses for my Nikons. You can set the camera to be as simple as you wish or go completely manual and change any possible parameter to suit your purpose or situation. For some people, the aura and history of owning a Leica is enough but I think that Bresson or Fenninger, if they were alive today, would be using Fujifilms or Nikons.

This camera is discontinued and official support is no longer provided. It’s not an easy fix, since the shutter is inside the lens and the lens is not removable, so it requires an extensive teardown. You could still potentially find unofficial repair centres, like smaller shops or local repairs, things like that. But not from Fujifilm directly. It would be easier to check before purchasing one, and testing it yourself. Hope that helps, thanks for watching and reaching out, cheers!

Thanks for taking the time to watch and leave a comment as well. I'm not sure I can help, but I'll try: 1. Make sure you update to the firmware. 2. Are you using the original battery? (Some cameras act up when the battery is third party, like Canon for example) 3. I personally don't think it's SAB, since that affect the actual physical blades and not the operation of the camera. 4. If those steps don't help, then perhaps is something internal that needs repairing, at that point is just cheaper to buy another one, honestly. IF everything works well (the camera is not beat up, broken, damaged, etc) and it does NOT have the SAB issue, then I 100% recommend it. The viewfinder alone makes it worth it for me. I know the x70 also has an aps-c sensor, but the lens on the x100 is 35mm equivalent. If you have watched my previous videos then you know I am an advocate of using a viewfinder instead of a screen, and 35mm instead of 28mm. If all of that sounds good to you, and the camera is not wrecked, then that is one hell of a deal! Thanks for watching and taking the time to leave a comment as well! I appreciate it!
