Great video, looking really good so far and I am looking forward to the final to see this sweet little Beemer come together. Take care, be well and stay safe.

What I find odd about a lot of the older style Fujimi kits is that it looks like they've got provisions for some batteries and even possibly an electric motor. After looking at how the light buckets were made on my 4 door 72 Skyline, it seems like one could fit some LEDs into it as well. I've not been able to find out any information on this, but it looks like your BMW's tub is set up in a similar fashion.

Correct, there where motors available and light kits aswell back in the 80's when they where brought out

That makes sense, no wonder why the headlights look a little different than Tamiya and Aoshima, and the chassis really looks like it is designed for motor and batteries placement.

Might have to source these parts and put them into a build.

I like the music in this one a lot l, very relaxing, along with your narrative I feel like watching a Saturday morning TV show about building models.

Silly question. When you were painting the seats the clip covered up a small area of the piece. How did you paint that small area? Did you go back later? Thank you.
@TheScalemodelingChannel2 жыл бұрын
It probably was hidden and could never been seen once assembled. So i don’t think i painted it after

the gauge cluster and dashboard are one whole peace. maybe a wood trim would be making it look more retro and old school. (just my opinion)
