The modern side and the natural & traditional side are both amazing in different ways!

You'll love it! Good luck with your Japanese - it's so fun when you can understand little things in Japan! I'm always so proud when I manage to talk to someone properly (*^‿^*)

Looks fantastic! What a lovely view. Always wanted to go to Japan. One day I'll get there - I've made it my mission! Loving the cat sunglasses by the way.

Don't delay, JJ. It took me 27 years to get there and beyond expectations.

You can do it JJ; look for deals and if you're afraid of traveling alone Japan is a really safe place

Thank you all for the encouragement. I'd love to visit in the (hopefully not too distant) future. I've admired Japan for so many years, all that's left to do is go there!

Damn, I am longing to go but can't find anyone to go with me! Your videos make it look absolutely amazing

Traveling alone can be fun too, Japan is a pretty safe place to do solo traveling in. If you stay in a hostel you can make friends and do things together. Don't let being alone stop you.

I travel alone and Tokyo has been my best experience so far. So much so I'm going back alone for a month soon :) you'll meet some great people there and it's so safe and friendly, even in the red light district in shinjuku I never felt like I was in danger, and I stayed there all night until 7am :P

Thank you for the advice! I suppose travelling alone is okay but having someone to rely on is my trouble( no japanese!)

Do you get a lot of these rubber stamp things in Japan?
@cakeswithfaces6 жыл бұрын
Yes! They often have them at tourist attractions as a souvenir stamp. You also get stamp rallies, where you have to go to different locations to collect stamps, and get a small prize. I found a Gudetama one in Kyoto! :-)

I was told that they light up the tower green On Kakyoin's birthday to commemorate his death

Interesting - I think they do similar things with other towers around Japan for certain events, like the Kyoto Tower and the SkyTree.

Hey I was wondering how you can afford to go to Japan all of the time I mean its so expensive to fly to especially if you don't live in Asia.
@cakeswithfaces6 жыл бұрын
I'm actually planning a video about that, as lots of people ask me for tips for saving for Japan! I don't spend much in my everyday life, and try to save as much as I can for travel. For example, I don't go out that much, I cut my own hair, I don't go to coffee shops etc, I make my own lunch and I don't buy clothes apart from when I'm in Japan. Sounds small but I believe the little things add up - you choose what you want to spend your money on. I do have to go to Japan for my business ( www.cakeswithfaces.co.uk ) but I shop around for flights and hotels.
