Great vid, thank you! I used the socket technique. Went fine although on my first ride I started getting lateral play. I slackened off the allen key bolt on the collar and tightened it back up. Seems to have fixed the problem. Not quite sure why it all loosened off though?

hi, I have noticed my free hub is loose and moves. I tried putting spacers in my cassette but realised it is not the cassette its the free hub moving , its not tight. However after tightening it from your video its still loose and moved , any suggestions ?

Hey all, can anyone confirm the Freehub body used on in this very helpful video guide by Free To Cycle' is it the RS-113 which I've picked up elsewhere, but not managed to confirm yet

@@FreeToCycle hope you didn't mind me mentioning and asking, but the original freehub body on mine only last 10-months, despite using a 10 speed spacer, the Freehub body become marked up and pitted very quickly and got me wondering why. Is this down to needing a larger spacer or in your experience, is more to do with the original Freehub body material, with the freehub body provided not being particularly good? And the replacement better perhaps? Appreciate your time and view on this :-)

Thanks for the video, my rim came with 12*148 boost and I wanted to ask if it's possible to change that axle that's holding the free hub body shown in this video from 12*148 to 12*142 non boost. Thanks

The racing 5 db is 12x142mm! Not possible to change the axle from boost to non boost.

Hi, I’ve replaced my racing 7’s with R5’s and just swapped the N3W freehub supplied with the wheels to a 12 speed campag one. Installed it exactly as you have in video but when I put wheel back into drop outs, the drop outs rub on the 11 tooth cog? I also noticed the axle does not rotate independently of the freehub like my R7’s did? How are the wheels supposed to spin when tightened up in dropouts? What have I done wrong?!
