If I had my way with team selection I'd put Joelinton in false9 to press from the front with Gordon and Barnes on either wing bringing Willock back into the fold with Tonali and Bruno.

If we win against Fulham on Saturday we go TOP ! And when Man City play Arsenal we can only drop to 2nd ! Come on the lads
@boemher15Ай бұрын
I really like the idea of Joelinton up front. He was good just lacked confidence and was an unreliable finisher. Well now he has confidence and we are not expecting him to bang in goals just perform a no.9 role for a few games

I might be late but bruno backheel against southampton was a dan burn back stick back across the box corner routine

Our problem is not Osula but the fact Wilson & Isak made of glass
@jonhill134Ай бұрын
I was thinking the same that we could try Joelinton up the middle while Isak is out injured but I agree that Howe will go with Gordon up the middle 👍

Agreed Paul what is the point of Usula give the lad a chance. If we are not going to use him why was he not sent out on loan?
@grahamritchie7755Ай бұрын
I would start Willock

"However, Egeli, who now plays his football at Danish title contenders FC Nordsjaelland has also been praised for his similarities with former Bayern Munich and Chelsea legend Arjen Robben due to his impressive ability to cut inside, beat defenders and curl in shots with his left foot."

I understand what Alex is trying to say about osula however I believe you only get experience by playing we have bought him as a future talent and a chance has come where we need a striker as a fan base we need to put up with him learning and give the lad a chance to play and take what is served up by his efforts I believe he will be fine against Fulham
@davidrobinson2776Ай бұрын
We've definitely got to play Osula. He's played PL football, he's robust, hungry and desperate to impress. Give the lad a chance for 50 mins. Let's face it, if we can't beat Fulham then we are way off. Also, why haven't we tried Schar as a defensive midfielder?
@grahamritchie7755Ай бұрын
I never could understand why we are so poor at set pieces when we have such a big squad!
@robbell4511Ай бұрын
We all know Joelinton is not a striker, playing him there would be foolish. I like Paul's confidence that Tonali is definitely starting, I really wouldn't be surprised to see him on the bench again.
@smanvir94Ай бұрын
Doesnt mean he has to play up top all the time…
@YorkshireTOONАй бұрын
Only problem with willock is when he starts he can take a half to get going, whereas when he comes on as a sub he’s instant

Set pieces, Burn needs to go to the front post as we never clear the first fecking man 39:09

Osula should start!!

Wasn't until October/ November when our injuries starting occuring, maybe Isaks toe is just the start of another injury ravaged campaign? At this point we need to start renting out a Ward at the RVI and throw everyone in there, it's a complete joke
@smanvir94Ай бұрын
Burn doesnt score enough from corners he needs to practise on that because he really is bad at it, Brighton and PsG rememrable goals from him

Lads, because of the cartoon comments tonight from Paul’s earlier video I watched it after this show. I thought it was excellent and progressive. Don’t be put off Paul by negative people. That format will give your channel a cutting edge that the others don’t have. It will be successful with younger audiences and that has to be your target now to grow the channel 🤍🖤🤍🖤
