All of them are rare gems, played beautifully. The last of op. 3 has always been my favorite with those two brief explosions of fury then returning quickly to the delicate main theme as if nothing happened-and that mysterious ending…just fading away. Scriabin’s elegance is unparalleled…IMHO. Thank you!👍

Beautiful pieces beautifully played. Do not know how Pizarro works it out in his Beethoven piano concerts recording or in his Rachmaninov complete works, (have to hear it), but in this case, think his interpretation is outstanding. Have it and recommend to get it. A dream of music.

@@CollinsClassicsOfficial Forgot to mention about the Pizarro recording of the Scriabin Mazurkas that of course, the Collins record has a pristine and well balanced sound. Collins trademark, would say. Love this house. It accompanies properly the Pizarro perfomance. A brilliant account, a perfect record.

Thanks for the post, but to be honest, I have spent my whole life trying to see Scriabin and his contemporaries as anything other than the Emperor's New Clothes. I still don't see it.
