The Mr Quinn and Mr Saterthwaite series were a refreshing change from Agatha Christie's usual stories with their supernatural theme. I am not sure about "The Avengers" but there was one - forgot the title, where Saterthwaite is able to prevent a murder where the murder weapon was a poison gas in a glass bubble that would break when exposed to certain frequencies of sound. The would be murderer knew the intended victim would be listening to an opera on the radio that would shatter the glass at a certain point of the performance. That was very Avengers in terms of the murder weapon.

This was an amazing story. I enjoyed all of the twists and turns. Read beautifully and I definitely love this series. Especially during these times that bring back a gentler time. Certainly not without any problems however a brilliant depiction of a time that would be lovely to have now. Thank you so much for sharing these wonderful stories with us all.

This sounds more like an episode of The Avengers from the 60’s!
