I got so so much better at defending and attacking fiefs but my head is not wrapping around the tactics in open field. I can win a 800 vs 1.1k but with a lot of casualties and I did not win any 2 to 1 fight yet in open field but I'm training in my free time hopefully one day I could pull of a huge 2 or 3 to 1 😮

56:10 The irony of getting killed by a horse lancer. Another great episode. I half expected a cut scene forcing you to thank Willowbark: "You showed up just in time!" An episode or two ago you showed the start of a battle, then just showed us a highlight or two. You could do this for all your fights and not Auto-resolve anything saving us from the pushovers and saving your army from skewed casualties. Just a thought. Keep up the great work!

The housekeeping is not necessarily boring when there is a tactical or strategic explanation. You took the troops out of the garrison and explained why. This action was a natural extension of the narrative and worth including with a short explanatory note. Unless you’re using some form of randomising function to choose which troops you transfer between armies (highly unlikely) then you have reasons and those reasons are potentially insightful to the rest of us, even if they seem trivial and/or irrelevant. Doesn’t need to be every single frame but a short “these troops are going here for this particular reason” is way more entertaining and informative than, say, ANYTHING TO DO WITH TOURNAMENTS BEFORE THE END SCREEN. Also, that hand cramp is the price you pay for excessive Marshall Baton.

Yeah me too. 4x4 team battle with everyone in noble armour and 300+ in all attributes would be a mouth-watering, tactical smorgasbord. On my wish list now that you brought it up but perhaps slightly a wee bit on the extreme end of actual game play.

59:32 i was under the impression that helmet only came with npc's. Im a newer player and have one in each my campaigns (2) from empire wives. Edit : second campaign got it from my sister when she came of age.

I agree cavalry are lackluster; however, I find banner knights with a strong captain or even the player leading them can be very effective as anti-cav and can handily destroy archers or infantry in shield and shock

All cav have their uses and Bannerknights are probably pretty nasty dismounted too, but spear cav vs. ranged cav in Bannerlord is still pretty close to broken.

im a vassel and no matter what my troops slowly leave their position in a defense and man the walls,.i give up command and then take back command and they still leave the formation, even on custom battles

If there are troops that are part of the kingdom, you DON'T get to control them as a merc in siege(or other battles)... Need to be the lead vassal or your own kingdom...
