COBI makes a TOG II in association with the Bovington Tank Museum. They also have a Tiger 131 kit.

As a kid, my brother & I had Better Builder, Airfix's version. The specialist parts were wheels & roof slates. Many post Thunderbirds episode models "require" rescuing.

I've built a couple of this type of kit. They're fun and I take them to the cottage which is pretty much off grid and 220km from my bench.

I've built a 1:35 cobi model of the tog2, as no one has yet released a 1:35 styrene model kit. It was great fun and looks quite good. Its huge and was well worth the price, plus i supported the bovington tank 8:54 museum

It has individual track links, making it flexible track! Is this what happens when kids are not allowed to play with glue and knives?

Some normal Model kits come with these too. Great fun to assemble

Probably not. My view is a little snobby. If I want to build Lego, I will only build Lego. Although that's a little misleading. I buy the Lego for my two children. If anything, they're the ones who think it's Lego or nothing. Brand snobbery at 7 and 10 years old is real. My daughter started it off at about two years old. If it wasn't top quality chocolate, she wouldn't eat it. 😂❤😂

@@markstott6689 it's funny, I had a conversation with my son about headphones when he was about 12/13 - he wanted Beats (which are overpriced shite), so I asked him why and he said be ause of sound quality, so I researched headphones and got him some much better ones for the sane price, with a removable lead, memory metal headband and super high quality sound. He lived them and never asked for branded stuff without questioning why again....

@MannsModelMoments Imogen wanted headphones a couple of birthdays ago, and I did my research. I found a brand that I'd never heard of, but they were Hi Res Audio certified with good reviews. Even better was removable/replaceable cables. Essential for children (and me lol). When my ex came to pick up the children, Imogen wanted to show her mother. Cue my exes face when she didn't recognise the brand. Imogen made her listen to them. Her face lit up once she had heard them. They weren't cheap at £50 but they were far better than anything from Beats, Skull Candy and their ilk. When she's much older she can join the Sennheiser club. 😊❤😊

Lego isn't the best, overpriced and they have immoral business tactics towards competitors
@markstott668915 күн бұрын
@guidor.4161 I suspect most businesses aren't exactly saints when it comes to competitors. It's generally how a business stays competitive, and they all want to dominate their respective markets. If my two ever ask for a non Lego product, I won't dismiss the idea out of hand.

Sorry, but 50 minutes of silent brick clicking does not a fun video make, IMHO
