I admit to watching this time and again! It is idyllic! A late afternoon bathed in sunshine, everyone is so relaxed and the scenery so green and neat, the lovely houses and apartments nestling peacefully in the countryside. I visited this area in my youth and now I am retired I would love to go back and spend my final years there. Thank you so much, and for all the other excellent films.

It certainly looks a very popular line. It's one of those that I've covered various parts of before, and thought "I wonder where that goes down there". Nice multi-modal interchange at Romanshorn, straight off the station right onto the ferry pier. And a tickle for that dog at Romanshorn as well.

It's clear from watching this that the European middle class are way better off than probably anyone else in the world. What a wealth of beauty and culture they can access just by getting on a train! I usually watch mountain railways for the scenery, but I enjoyed this very much, even though there wasn't much in the way of lakeshore views. Nice to see most of the request stops in use, even though in places they were as close together as metro stops! Good to see so many people walking and cycling, and that the goods sidings seem to be in use.

Thank you, yes indeed we do see a large segment that has previously been missing on this platform - it makes me wonder whether Konstanz-Kreuzlingen Hafen is currently covered by any regular working, there appears to be a depot on that sector, would love a better view of it - very amusing to note that request stops may even be junctions or crossing points, presumably in case the train needs to recover lost time - thanks again for so much uplifting content \m/

Hello!! Excellent cab ride!!!! :) I have one question At 46:00 there is an orange aspect with 6X10=60km/h restriction for the next signal at 46:48. However At 46:48 the signal is not green with the 6..... At 46:48 you have a solid orange. Why at 46:00 doesn't have an orange with V in the screen? Thanks

It can't be green because the next signal is red, so it must show orange without any additional number. The V is only in use in places with very short signal distances and does not indicate a speed limit on the next signal, while in this case, 60 is the maximum to cross the switch.

Is the track supports (A or W sleeper pattern) on the SOB section of the line significant to the SOB or the poor ground conditions on which this line is built? What era are the military defenses seen track side before Kreuslingen from, 1930's or 1950's Alpine fortress?

If I am not mistaken. Occasionally one sees a big white boards with 2 large numbers on it. That is the speed limit, recommended and maximum. 80 to 100km/h.

Da in Diessenhofen die langsamere Einfahrt bei nicht schienenfreien Zugängen vorgesehen ist, in Güttingen nicht. Das ist von Seiten Infrastruktur so definiert.
