for those who wonder what the motor noise during the fill is, it's the machine's motor, which is running the timer; the timer doesn't have its own motor on this machine

Look at that turnover . And its not even the cork screw type agitator and everything is circulating in that wash tub. The new modern washer my friend has can barely get the clothes to circulate .

Thank you Tyler for the upload. Hope you are well God bless. For relatively small bottom fins on the agitator the rollover on this is quite good. Though the vanes do flare out from the post a bit, so I guess all of that combined really moves the clothes around.

I’ve never 👎 heard of a Blackstone washing machine, but I’ve heard of a Blackstone 360 grill. I don’t even know the year of this machine. I’m going to say it’s like 👍 a Whirlpool, or a Kenmore. I like 👍 the color, if it happens to be gold. Smoothest washing action I’ve seen, making it the Cadillac of washing machines. Your friend, Jeff.

Such a beautiful machine. So glad there is a survivor in such good condition! These machines were very good washers and very effective rinsers. The only draw-back was the mechanical timer. If the power were to go out while it was filling there was going to be a flood until the power came back on------------unless------------the machine shorted itself out!

First time I’ve ever seen or heard a Blackstone Washer in action. With a stainless steel top and lid (for 1957?!?!).
