One thing that I want to say is : My mom ( and my other family members ) doesn't understand what is so entertaining about them and she doesn't know of which things I used to suffer ( self-harm & depression ) . Dan and Phil are those people that make me feel like I never did before . I started to watch them in August 2015 because KZbin actually recommended Dan's Existential Crisis video and I got so into it that all I was thinking was '' this is so relatable , like I need to watch more of his video and stuff '' and then I saw some pinof videos and that's how I found out about Phil . It really does upset me that KZbin doesn't have the set up a webcam in your room mentality anymore. KZbin started out as this platform for outcasts to connect and to share their own opinions with people, but it's now become a business. People like dan and phil, who started making videos for others enjoyment, really have stayed true to that mindset. If you look at the new crop of KZbinrs is seems that they all are attractive, popular, snobby, and aren't making content for their selves or to help others. I hear kids in my class say I want to be a KZbinr, it seems easy and carefree. It's not an outlet if your starting with the intent of making money and gaining a job. I just hope that kids who started out with a negative intent don't make it and people who want to share their ideas because they finally have found a place where they're appreciated succeed.

Wow, one of the best interviews I've ever seen!!!! Funny, entertaining, and riveting af! The interviewer was armed with KZbin knowledge, he'd read the book and knew the content, he watched their [first] videos beforehand, Dan and Phil's answers were articulate af and they were so genuine and beautiful and adorable.
