Tbh i would always advice just removing 250-500 calories off your peak offseason calories from carbs to begin with then keep that the same till one week you dont lose weight then just do 150-200 calorie drops from carbs at those points when fat hasnt been lost. That way your in a smaller deficit which means yojll have a lot more energy to train and youll be at less risk of losing muscle. I only ended uo so low because i had digestion issues so cut 1000 calories off my total amount right away so id drop a good bit of weight fast to get rid of this issue. If i hadnt done that i woulda been on 2900 by the end of my prep rather than 1900
