This is an updated full day of eating as a girl who has recovered from not only anorexia but binge eating disorder as well. I now have a healthy and mindful relationship with food and do not restrict any food groups or feel out of control around any foods.

I genuinely just want to say as a Christian, who struggles with binge eating and uses fasting as a way to cope, that I’m grateful that you are able to shed light and knowledge on the situation. Also exactly what you say your symptoms were are what mine are literally currently and I am so grateful for your tips. And I am just praising God that you have found victory, and that you are able to help others to gain victory over this temptation and struggle as well. God bless you beautiful.

- take picture of your meals - eat breakfast - don't skip meals - get rid of trigger foods - get serving size of the food that you love (that you usually binge) - take a walk or do something that get your mind away from food

calorie deficit story warning: oh my goodness the calorie banking phrase resonated so deeply with me! I was on a calorie deficit and because i had "extra calories left" i would overeat and start making up for calories i didn't eat even if i wasn't hungry and would end up insanely full. and my mentality still felt "safe" because i was well within my calorie range still. It completely forced my mind to ignore my hunger cues and just force food down my stomach when i wasn't comfortable having it, and it destroyed me in the long run. i respect anyone who does work with calorie deficits but ugh your experience has brought me so much clarity and comfort. i have finally reached this point of realizing i need to give up what i'm doing because i am so uncomfortable in my body. THANK YOU for sharing your experience and educating your followers, plus promoting happiness. i'm so grateful and appreciative of you're work, please keep going. love ya so much

i love how your recipes aren't super complicated?? like minimal ingredients rather than a lot of other influencers who have all these powders and unknown ingredients. so glad I found you on youtube!!!

yes girl I don't even use protein powders, just too much and rn im trying to eat more unprocessed just for my digestion!

As someone who still is not diagnosed at 32 YOU ARE AMAZING! Keep getting better and managing. I will never be diagnosed I went from ana to mia to obese after I had my baby being pregnant broke my restricting and broke my purging but I still to this day with a 9yr old binge at night I never eat breakfast its the worst meal I will purge from mental anxiety no fingers needed I just get so nauseas. I am 205lbs and its my highest weight ever I still worship the scale and it does nothing for me but stress me out. I just cant stop. (I am poor so no Dr will ever see me for ED or even believe I have struggled.)

Oh my god I relate to this so much. I never thought I had BED because I have anorexia but this is so real. Thank you. I need to address this now

I also am obsessed with yogurt bowls like That . Omg . I’m so tired of my life being one series of like obsessions and things I do so extreme over the top. I want to be able to eat in moderation like before , and not binge .

hello alexis, god you can't even imagine how glad i am that you make videos on youtube! I don't speak English, but I watch your videos and posts with the help of an online translator. I am now trying to gain muscle mass after anorexia, I weigh 38 kg with a height of 156 cm ... It is very difficult, every day with food in a calorie surplus it seems to me that I am getting fat🥲 I really think that I am fat, but many say that this is body dysmorphia🥺 I really don’t know what to do, I have already gained 5kg, but I can’t say that I began to look better. The only thing is that I used to eat less than 500 kcal, now I eat about 1500 kcal and I don’t understand how I could do this to myself🤧

Omg I’m going through the same exact thing basically just focus on eating protein and natural foods but don’t restrict try to increase intake of your fear foods to recover. Also it’s okay take it slow this is a journey your experimenting with your body some days it’s not going to be perfect you have. All the time in the world to make better of yourself🫶🏻🫶🏻

This was such a helpful video. I’m not sure if you still do, but do you have any advice as to how to stop counting calories and macros? I really feel a calling to stop but don’t know how or where to start xx

you have to take the first step, stop for a day and carefully observe your feelings. it’s gonna feel incredibly difficult but trust me ❤
