You've been such a huge inspiration in my life. Your hard work ethic is contagious. You deserve the great powers you have cultivated. May God continue to bless you and your family. I'm hoping you don't retire just yet🙏. Cheers from Socal USA! Team PRVN PATRON HERE ❤️

I'm mind-boggled by the amount of training Tia does vs the amount of food she eats. I'm 5'2'' and like ~125lbs. I do like may be 1/8 of the training she does and eat as much as she does. Bodies are wild.

Hi! I really admire Tia, what an amazing woman. I just have a question, why dont you include fresh fruit and vegetable? Is there any reason different to the suplement that Tia takes?
@mcfarvo2 жыл бұрын
When she retires, will you all ever reveal the PED stacks/cycles used to attain such muscle mass at that low BF% while performing so well in extreme strength and endurance workouts? I'm sure pro CF athletes are on the cutting edge of that as Bodybuilding competitors don't need sport performance and most endurance athletes (cyclists or runners) don't need all that body mass, so their PED usage is vastly different. Please and thanks!
@eeyore0772 жыл бұрын
of course they wont, they probably will still be testimonial for some brand, plus the "shadow" of ped using would take away some importance from their results (at least for naive people..)

Tia/Shane - do you guys ever wear a HRM throughout the day to see how many calories you’re burning during training? Or do you just guesstimate? I’m wondering if you’ve figured out the sweet spot calories wise to ensure you keep all your muscle gains and don’t go into a catabolic state or gain too much fat. I’ve always appreciate how diligent you are with your physique as well as your training. It’s impressive to see such a healthy and lean female crossfitter! Definitely something to aspire to!

Hi, cheers from Brazil! Tia and Shane you are great! I am a fan of your attitude towards people and everybody says that! I have a question, maybe sensible (or not) because I find weird how some people are reacting towards you both. You said once that Mat Fraser was your brother from another mother. You were very, very close and now it seems that this has disappeared. Is it because HWPO became competition? The buttery bros just made a video of this CrossFit Games and you are barely featured. Is it a business thing? They focused much more on Mal O'Brien than you... so weird... and you are now the most dominant athlete in this sport by far. Hope you stay in the game. 7 is a good number :-). All the best.

I'm surprised about the amount of processed food. I'm assuming this is due to the convenience of such things plus the ability to process almost anything when training at that level. It would still be interesting however to see how it would look different it you swapped out some of those things to maybe more fruits, oats & berries, nut butters, sweet potatoes, etc.

People who say she's on gear just don't understand what goes into making that body. Just the calories themselves are impossible for the average working person. I hit the gym 5 days a week for an hour each plus and hour fast walking 5 days. It shows but nowadays near as fit as her. I need my 2 days recovery mostly for the mental rest

Why do you get so many calories from processed foods? Wouldn't the inflammatory properties of those foods go against recovery? What about all of that saturated fat and dietary cholesterol, even though she's a professional athlete, you have to take care of her heart for the long term. You can easily get all those calories from more healthy sources.
@Watchingvids012 жыл бұрын
Her body’s ability to recover is far superior to the average person. That’s why sometimes you see professionals can have some more processed food and in terms of her heart I’m sure she has a dietician etc
@Watchingvids012 жыл бұрын
Also she has a mix of nature and processed, with her volume of calories just whole foods would be a lot of eating n consider eating for games is short term it’s even different foods from the open
@emmacoughlan7022 жыл бұрын
If she was to eat 5000 calories of non processed food she wouldn’t physically be able to consume the volume of it. And when you’re an athlete needing decent amounts of quick releasing sugar you’re not going to get that from all natural food.
@Watchingvids012 жыл бұрын
@@emmacoughlan702 exactly!
@mateomendez28812 жыл бұрын
@@emmacoughlan702 fair enough on the processed carbs. I'm still concerned about the amount of saturated fat and dietary cholesterol she consumes. The amount she consumes is not safe for anyone including the best athletes. Also, even if the meat she consumes is low fat, I worry about the carcinogenic nature of the processed and red meat. She could easily eat chicken or fish. She would get the same amount of protein, would also be low in fat, and would lower her risk of cancer significantly. Whole food plant-based proteins are also an option, no heart disease risk at all, more calories to protein ratio would help her reach that calorie goal, and the extra anti-inflammatory and anti oxidant properties of plant based proteins would definitely help her.
