Thanks, yeah that partially why I took a break here...its frustrating to go through all the trouble of coming up with a video idea, filming/editing the video, and then uploading it just for YT to immediately demonetize it, or worse, remove it completely. I had other projects/channels I was working on, so this channel just got pushed to the back burner. I'll be back with some new content at some point though.

The one part from the slide most of us either never see, or don't know about, is the Striker Channel Liner. It's the "tube" that goes inside the striker channel, that never comes out during a disassembly. It requires a very special tool to remove it. On rare occasion, that striker channel liner can become warped, or somehow damaged enough to need to be replaced, but I emphasize, RARE occasion. It's easily cleaned with a standard cleaning routine.

Definitely a great video. This works for a S&W Sigma as well with a couple of tweaks. One side of my brain says build a Glock and Wesson. The other side says, that's not a brilliant idea. It's staggering that S&W still uses "very similar" tech after Glock rightfully sued them. The only difference I've seen is the trigger assembly. Keep making great content!

lots of thanks for info on the "inverse" order of assembling the frame mechanisms!. Initially I did it "my way" (i.e. pure inverse order) and...faced great problems with the Glock. Ocassionally the bolt was blocked as if there was no bullet in the magazine (disaster in speed shooting). After watching your video again I realized that the spring of the slide release was stuck in wrong place because of my bad assembly after cleaning. Did as you said and works perfectly. Thx again.

Thank you so much, I really needed this. I ordered a Titanium striker and I used the gun and slide to hold the new striker while I put the striker spring and striker cups on. Somehow, the extractor fell out and the barrel seemed to be stuck on the gun frame and would not come off. Once I saw the extractor and watched your video I realized, I needed to push the firing pin safety plunger spring down and then I could free up the slide and take it off again.
