No excuse for the lack of tomatoes; I get fresh and tinned still in every weekly shop. Just made a fresh salad with fresh tomatoes, and I have a t least 10 tins in the cupboard. Breakfast without fried bread should be illegal. 🤣 Great review Deano.

The fire was different! I quite liked that. Eggs did look nicely cooked and no lacey bottom. How grubby was the back of that seat!!

It's been a while since I had a spoons breakfast but I always went for the American breakfast, the pancakes were lovely. That breakfast looked lovely though

That is not a bad price really for the size of that breakfast. Price has gone up, since last time I had a breakfast at Weatherspoon's. Although to be expected everywhere. Not sure if they have swapped grilled tomatoes to mushrooms. I do find some Weatherspoon's pubs hit and miss to be honest. It is time they got rid of those ugly blue plates.

The last Spoons breakfast I had was in Gloucester Quays, the beans were stone cold, just out of the tin. Such a kerfuffle to get it put right.

Hi Deano u are right u use to get a half grilled tomato with it but due to complaints they have stopped for because people prefer tinned tomatoes not a grilled half

Friday went to spoons in cwmbran and then shopping, got pickpocketed!! But the fish and chips were OK. Usually have a breakfast every other Friday good value, better value all you can eat breakfast at the Toby......

i always find in spoons mushrooms are never cooked very good almost raw,apart from that ok brekkie for the price. btw there is no shortage of tomatoes the suprmarkets woulnt pay the price being asked all my local veg shops have tomatoes

Was going to say that's a large one as you get 2 slices of toast. I don't like mushrooms or sausages, so ask for black pudding or an extra egg. Sometimes the give both but yeah your bacon looked well under-par. My local spoons have decent griddle marks and decent enough flavour. Not expecting a top quality breakfast with organic ingredients from a farm but better bacon than what you were served. Btw, good content again!

I went here last Saturday on a recommendation and it was the first time and last time.I sat were you sat the tables were disgusting not been cleaned crap all over the tables not being funny but it’s a restaurant tables need cleaning there was waiters walking round doing nothing my kids didn’t have anything to eat because it put them off my food was nice but I like to eat in a clean restaurant so I won’t he going there no more we went to the boulevard for dinner it was stunning and not even expensive

A few years ago spoons in woking did a five piece breakfast & a pint for £5,not shure if they still do,the breakfast you had didn't look to bad to be fair.
