It is a woman owned business. I only tried the eye shadows but they are freaking amazing!!! So rich. So smooth. And some were only $2!!!

That's a tester. Alot of lip products have them on the bottom and people dont know it. It's usually just a color tester.

@@mistytells I saw a video on it and it’s a balm to put on after you exfoliate, it’s a completely different product and some are different colors than the actual exfoliater. I didn’t know about the color testing thing though I’m gonna look out for that, thanks!

The flip side is, now everyone else either has a "lower paying job"/closer to minimum wage, or they ask for a raise to reflect their comparative value. And thus the cycle continues....

So I'm 30 and am learning make up from you. Just so much I didn't know, like what an impact a transition shade does and the tape trick. My usual make up doesn't look bad, but it's absolutely not Instagram level or anything. I also am interested in making my own skin care business because I am SO SICK of companies using crappy ingredients. And no, I do not give a single cat whisker about "all natural" but I hate alcohol in make up because it dries you skin. My skin is no joke a flakey saharah desert. I could handle the most hydrating moisturiser and my skin will just take it and it will be dry again. Same goes for some other common ingredients, they aren't skin friendly. Also preservatives are good, they protect you from very natural mold, bacteria etc. But there are better choices than others and companies go for what's cheap, not what's ideal (even really expensive stuff always has like 2 ingredients that are just not good for skin) it's frustrating. I want to create a truly all over body butter that's safe for your face. Comedogenic (pore clogging, but often super hydrating like coconut oil) products are what makes it bad for your face. There are so many choices to not clog your pores and be ultra hydrating (helping the skin retain water is two fold, the hydrating ingredients, but also something that makes the hydrating ingredients stay on the skin. Vaseline is a good example) If I ever do get a business going, I'm definitely sending some beauty youtubers samples because for me, if it works out, I would be so freaking happy for people to actually get products that are researched to be as nice to your skin as possible with out running on the dumb appeal to nature bandwagon nonsense I see so many people hop on. Anyway, just wanted to share. Gonna get a few things from elf and get some proper brushes and practice in general.

That elf camo original is too dry me w oily skin tried this under eyes and made me look ten years older. I now only use it on spot treatment cause it does have good coverage. The hydrating one is ten x better. I love elf they have so many great products and love adorable. I just spent hella money on color pop not sure if you’re a fan but def should.

Yup didn’t find my shade neither🙄 sick of these brands not considered us caramel tan with warm undertones. We aren’t all pink and peach undertones🤦🏽‍♀️ I love elf but any of their foundation or tinted creams don’t have a wide range of in between shades with undertones that aren’t pink or peach. Pass! Glow Gleam beam highlighter is so pretty. I like the top middle shade and the formula is good, but the bottom 3 shades need to be scraped in order to get a good glow. It’s that baked highlighter stuff. But once u got it working it’s nice. I’ll be using it with a damp sponge this week. Been using it dry
