I have what feels like a really dumb question, but as someone who also has suuuuper pale skin, if you were to self tan, would your tones change? Such as being able to pull off more orange/yellow based products?

That liquid eyeshadow you have to use it as a topper, just like the Stila ones or as a final cut crease, it looks amazing

I too hate when people swatch products and put them back. I have seen people use the testers at Sephora without using the disposable wands they have. I keep reading some people making excuses for the line saying that Germany is mostly white. Even white skin comes in different tones. And if they are going to sell in Europe you would think they would have more options. Are you able to do Revlon?

Catrice recently announced they extended their foundation range for the HD Liquid Radiance :) I think they now have 15 or 20 shades

Also, I heard Essence is a sister company to Catrice. It would be interesting to compare the brands and see if any products are the same or if one brand is better at certain products than the other (e.g. Both brands have full coverage concealers).

catrice used to have such great products, an amazing highlighter that just looked out of this world in their first prime and fine line. they didn't bring it back sadly. just like some eyeshadows that I still have from former releases. so bummed about it, really.

Could you do a full face of Pixi? Pixi is more expensive than other drugstore brands so I'm hesitant to try products on a whim. Plus, Catrice is now available at Shoppers Drugmart and it would be nice to be able to create a comprehensive list of items to purchase!

Here is my unpopular opinion: As a private brand I can manufacture whatever I want. If I'm dumb enough to not make shades for everyone and thus expanding my customer base than it's my problem. But I don't see why I'm obliged to make each shade, again, as a private brand.

I work at shoppers in the beauty boutique in Vancouver and I hate it when people open products when we don’t have a tester for it. I give people shit so many times a day. I tell them if you open it you have to buy it now. We lose so much money on having to make a product a tester now.

Hi Julia, thanks for making this video. I love some Catrice products as well. I got to know this brand when I visited my husband's family in Switzerland. This year I went to Thailand and bought their eyebrow pencil. Yes, I had the same problem. It ran out so quickly! I think I used it only 5 times max. Disappointing! :(

I live in dubai we have this brand here but the problem is same , they have only fair shades and in dubai people of colour are much more ! I can't even try this foundation because of such short colour range! I think essence and catrice are same in colour range Disappointed

I live in Germany and at Müller there is a glow version of this liquid foundation, which I own. But jesus christ the lightest shade is soooo dark. I am not pale at all, I am more of a light to medium skindone, but it just looks so dark and orange on me. That's why I bought the lightening drops from them and now its okay, but its seriously ridiculous. I also have a brow pencil from them, but it's a normal pencil, not a twisty one and they are really great! I too have the glow version of the powder you showed, but same story, it's so freaking dark that even i can't use it. I think that one is also only available at Müller.

Ugh I so hate when people use products and puts them back Huge Ackieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee,I always buy stuff that's sealed.I CRINGE in makeup departments when I see women trying the testers like used lipstick sends chills down my spine. I do that in the grocery stores also I check if there the sealed are not broken so many times I have gone home and found seals broken from spices and bottles etc. Super Duper AcKie Grossie ack ! I think it's important to raise these issues, the more people talk about it, the more likely the brand will react. If I were to boycott brands here in Switzerland for not stocking dark shades, I would have absolutely no brands left to use! lol Even brands that make dark shades don't stock them here.

Brands offer what consumers want. If the majority of their customers are white and light skinned, it makes sense to cater to them from an economic point of view. And as a German I definitely have to disagree with Julia. White people make up for 75-85 percent of the population but of course in cities there is much more diversity.
