I have the pink primer and the ysl foundation. I have never cared about primers before this one and the foundation is perfect!!! I have extremely dry skin but also find I can never get non drying formulas that are full enough coverage. This is that!!!! I love it! Also the primer is pore filling but also I don't get dry patches through the day... not sure if that's the foundation or the primer making that difference but I am obsessed !

I'm trying that new YSL foundation today, in fact! I picked B20 online and waffled between that and B10. Either would probably have been workable. I, too, kinda went "OH SHIIIIIIIZ... WHAT is this texture thing!" I always use fingers to apply my foundation and it was just sort of skipping over patches on my face until the very end. It did end up blending in just fine but I was worried there for a minute! Someone below asked about fragrance, it does have a very light, pleasant smell. I'm not sure how to describe it though...? Not floral, maybe more "spa" like? I've been wearing it for about 6 hours now and I feel like it's holding up well on my 41 year old skin. :) It's not noticeably settling into fine lines or pores yet. I do have some oil breakthrough on my forehead, but again, nothing noticeable elsewhere. I also feel like it's doing a good job of helping to keep my skin looking and feeling hydrated. I pretty much want to try all the things you used today! Such a pretty look, Alix!! xoxo :)

I'd try using a different primer, if it is silicone based using it with a water based foundation will have a strange reaction. Water & silicone don't mix well. Hope this helps xx

mizmode once applied put the tip on your finger in your mouth, this gets the excess lippy off the inside of the lip where it transfers on to teeth. It's a must do for me . Hope this helps xx

The brighter colours of the tsk primer will sit well on women of colour. White women can use lesser or mix in with other skincare product.
