Thanks for this. It's so timely for my newest Barchetta purchase. Out of all those Turbo chewing gum exotics and later posters of my childhood in post communist Romania, the Barchetta was always special. I later moved to California where I drove multiple roadsters and where I still own an '09 Z4. But the Barchetta kept lingering so last summer I bought one for vacations in Europe. So far it's been all I ever wanted from it. A future classic.

Great interview. I agree, the original front design is much lighter and balanced than the restyled one. I miss such great and pure designs in today's automotive landscape.
