Great fight! Horiguchi was magnificent. Dodged that spinning backfist twice - but the third got him. Superb strike from Pettis - even better was the way Pettis interrupted his hammerfist to the downed Horiguchi half-way through its execution. Now THAT is skill. Above all, THAT is the sign of a true sportsman and martial artist. Maximum respect to both fighters.

うーん、仮に勝っていても遅かれ早かれフライ級には落としたと思う。 海外のトップクラスと本気で戦う場合、堀口はやはりバンタム級では小さい。 国内のバンタム級のレベルが低いだけで対海外ではやはり堀口はフライ級が適正階級。

Sergio Pettis is more agile than Juan Archuleta, Kyoji Horiguchi is more agile than Sergio Pettis. That difference in agility dominated most of the match time. Juan Archuleta, however, is the only man to beat the Patchy Mix. Agility is important in MMA, but all skills lead to victory.
