I completely understand. I have lung and heart disease, started when I was 11. The meds i am on now cause a significant amount of pain. The trade off is life and function. Winter is worst for me. The garden gets me out of bed out of the house and purpose🙌🏻💗 I will always find a way to garden in some way. I need to transition into raised beds but with wood prices, it will have to wait. I cut them last year like green onion rings, or big chives. But still have alot left. So I thought powder would be good this year. This way I don't lose the use of the tops of my onions and shallots. Still have to cut back my yellow, white, candy and walla walla onion tops. Then the shallots. But still trying to dry all the red onion tops. Oh, Jess, when you move to your new home, and the season is ending, you should totally due a cooking vlog Friday or something. I grow all these different plants with no idea how to use them, so I end up just giving them away.

I’m soo happy for the rain 🌧 this year. In Bastrop, Texas we have been in a drought for a while. With all the pine trees we have to be aware of fires 🔥 in drought. Soo this year we are blessed for all the rain ☔️. Yes. I live on rocky ground. Lots of different kinds of rocks but not great for gardening. ❤️🤔

My cats are my nasturtiums leaves while they were coming up. I hand a bunch of vines. The cats ate the leaves off my green beans.

You are such a good friend, not only making sure Jill has food to harvest, but that she has plants to show on youtube.

Every time Jess mentions how much rain they've had I get a twinge of jealousy! We average 11 inches of rain PER YEAR here, lol. Growing a veggie garden is incredibly difficult!

Here in Ontario Canada we have experienced the opposite of you and haven’t had any rain!! It’s been painstakingly hard to keep everything watered as I plant the garden out. Thank you for sharing your garden, it’s always so exciting to see it. ❤️😀

I have the same heart this year, Jess. Even though I am very quickly losing my ability to get to get everything in the ground this year, and my sweet babies will be here right about the time you're moving out, not having a garden was just not an option this year for me either. I may need to rely on the kindness of friends and family to have any sort of harvest but I need my garden in the interim!

Your garden is out standing ,good on you.My garden is still not planted yet !! We had a major rain yesterday, I was still out there when the rain came on strong and soaked me out. We had major wind storm this morning, my hubby went out and made a barrier of chairs around all my plants that are waiting to go into ground and boxes. The wind was a strong 55 miles an hr, plants did not enjoy it.I will be out ASAP some time today for sure. You give a lot of lift to these downer garden times. Thank you .

I absolutely LOVE blackberries with all my heart. One of my favorite picking places got razed to the ground for a storage facility, another is smothered out by honeysuckle.

Enjoyed the tour...I enjoy all your videos! I appreciate when you toss in how you use the produce, how you cook these beautiful vegetables and herbs. Please continue that whenever you think of it. It's a great help to me!

The chopped nasturtium leaves in fish tacos sounds good! No the camera doesn't do it justice but you do! I am using as I need with onions right now too in 8a. Thanks Jess, enjoying and still in shock you will be in a new garden next season! You have inspired me for the last 3 years. ~Dani

I did 2 giant grow bags with potatoes that I have mounded up about 5 times with compost. The bag is finally full so I've been able to let it grow now. I just said to my husband today, "it's doing great I'm so excited but no idea how to tell that I am supposed to harvest." Then you tell us in a video yay!
