Impact got nerfed to be barely worth it, Necromage if working like written is weaker than unmodded, and how does Scroll Sage work for Shalidor's Insights?

Enai's changelog claims about Necromage: "Now correctly also affects abilities on self, including many perks, matching vanilla behaviour; however, certain effects that break when affected by Necromage, such as Steady Hand and the Slow Time shout, are specifically excluded" Seems like scroll sage doesn't improve the Shalidor's Insight scrolls at all, not even in duration.

Destruction is preety well made in this mod. It doesn't have the crazy scaling from ordinator(one combo killing kaarstag without even completed build isn't uncommon there) but it still allows destruction mages to somehow deal consistent damage with some nice tricks.

Tbh as much as I liked Ordinator it felt... just too much. But this is actually almost perfect. Wish they kept the damage boost part of the basic perk but the augmented perks basically did the same thing at once. I always use a perk overhaul, summermyst, and both Odin and apocalypse. Everything from there just works amazing together.

Wanted to say thank you for completing this series looking into Vokrii. It can be very daunting choosing a perk overhaul mod. Vokrii has so many possible builds without the perk bloat of Ordinator. Lately I have been playing a staff using necromancer and only spells in the left hand. Legendary and literary "stomping" through everything in the game. Staff of Hasedoki and Odin magic so OP. More than one. There is one from a few months ago on this channel: Dragonslayer. Also Champion of Talos. Vokrii is fun with that too. On my voice, I try to keep it a bit lower than usual for the vids, I find it nicer this way and with less risk of annoying sound spikes. It's quite easy on my throat. Funny thing, I'm not a native speaker and just speaking english by itself makes my voice a bit lower. Wierd.

A part of me really wish I could play a full-on scroll only mage with Vokrii, it sounds really fun and makes planning out adventures and combat situations a lot more interesting. If anything it would be sort of like playing Skyrim D&D lol but the issue with that is the rarity of scrolls itself. One could possibly buy scrolls from court wizards and mages in the college, but sometimes money is an issue and depending on your modlist where perhaps money is a lot more valuable or whatever with scarcity and economy mods, you can't really afford buying scrolls or at the least buy the better quality ones. I do know of a mod that does add in scroll crafting, it being called "Scrollwriting" which adds in these crafting tables that relies on you having deconstruct scrolls to learn them, and using items like Ink and Paper as well as the required Soul Gem or Magicka to craft them and it gives you Enchanting XP which is great for Vokrii. The issue for me however is that I use "Palace and Castles Enhanced" and sadly there is no compatibility patches with these two

Spell Research has a scroll crafting system, among other systems. It also has plenty of compatibility patches for different spell mods. Scrolls only may be tough early on, regardless of mods, because you need to get a lot resources first. But it should be manageable after the initial levels.

Dino’s spell discovery is a lightweight spell research that has compatibility with 2 of my most fave mods odin and mysticism, as well as added bonus of triumvirate. It can also let you learn spells from scrolls and staves so you can craft them later on

This magic mod is useless in legendary without alchemy. You still have to drink potion everytime you want to fight somebody with magic in legendary.
