Bling bling! Full Iced Out Ring 3D Jewelry Modeling tutorial using Blender 3.5
Here is proof that making a pavé by hand beats any automatized 3D software. The result is most surprising indeed, thanks to how all the gemstones and prongs are specifically layed down on the ring by hand, allowing very precise and specific placements better than an expensive (or free!) automatized system that would in fact have a hard time getting such an harmonious distribution.

By duplicate. It's better and faster. Obviously many would think that pavé tools from Matrix or 3Design would be faster or better, it's exactly the opposite. In the video I explain why

Like all new technologies, it wows first (tech companies are selling the tech), then the cake standardization hits and tech becomes a normal tool. When laser came out, it promised the end of gas torches. Lasers is amazing for cutting, engraving and specific soldering, yet it's still expensive and evolution is slow now, yet torches have been around for hundreds of years. When the microwave came out, it promised to be the only cooking tool required in the kitchen... Stone furnace pizza or microwave pizza 🍕 🤔 😋 obvious, old stone oven makes the best pizza. Should I continue? Internet, mobile phones, etc... Internet was the promise of so many things and treats, Internet is dead, standardized. AI is surely amazing, yet there is no exception to the phenomena I exposed. The serpent always eats the tail of the serpent, for a very simple reason: tech is amazing, people are stupid.
