One thing I appreciate about warhammer total war so far is the sheer variety of empires you can build. From rampaging horde to great trade empires. And as the world unfolds you can response to the various events from being a bulwark against the endless hordes. An unlikely hero who uses the forces of evil to prevent the worlds destruction or just sail the high seas and loot and pillage as the world burns.
