Hey girl, if you add these time stamps to the bottom of your video descriptions, with the first one starting at 00:00 then these will be divided into what KZbin has dubbed "video chapters". Also, don't use the the dashes in between the time stamp and the text. Give it a try. :)

Great video thank you! I feel that Reels can't really replace TikTok. TikTok has such a different feel to it, it's more like hanging out with friends, people can post great content in their PJs. Reels doesn't feel as friendly intimate because it's still part of Instagram - which as you said is very aesthetics focused. Plus Reels feel fairly limited right now in terms of features, but I anticipate they might make it more sophisticated over time! But you know... I'm definitely playing with both :).

you need to either record your videos in 1080p or export them to 1080p. Instagrams compressor is NOT great so it will drop the quality of your video if its over 1080p. :/

Jamie Markle that’s the MAIN one I use. You can also use Instagram Reels but i don’t find it as “user friendly”. There are a lot of other options out there but after trying a bunch, I personally LOVED the simplicity and variety of options within InShot.

I'm struggling with this method because when I post an edited video from Inshot to my Reels the quality drops imensely! Someone have the same problem?

If when recording your videos, you're recording with a quality higher than 1080p...Instagram will try to compress your video to fit 1080p and it will actually make the quality worse! So many sure you're recording and exporting at 1080p to keep the quality :)

Saul Franco Zavala there’s a selection you make before posting that says “also share to feed”. If it’s already posted you have to click the 3 dots on the reel and select “add to profile grid”!
