You know what's the best part? This and many other videos show off how good Int is, how good the changes for Goobi are. They still are going "He is Nerfed, he feels awful." Bro.. they are so bad.. I've seen that they fixed the "You're solo'd at level 1 unless you outplay" And made proper scaling into late game a thing. Like Anubis still felt like Anubis, Burst mage, damage over time, good sustain and is best used to BRAWL them instead of flat out having an escape. Turn and Burn Mage/ Auto delete button. Man's looks and feels good.

Goobis damage is significantly lower early. The minions have overall less hp it seems so you clear the wave fast, but ur full combo om zeus at lvl 3 barley tickled his hp

Considering his new passive I was wondering whether it makes more sense to build him as a bruiser, since he doesn’t 1 shot early game anymore, but the cool-downs are a little long for that playstyle

Unless its massively changed from SMITE 1 he just will never be able to compete as a bruiser against gods with better CC and mobility but also not be able to compete with high dmg characters due to lacking power. Full power build still feels like it will be more worth. Def feels like a odd shift to remove the pen from his passive but keep the prots and also make it scale on health left. Just overall feels far far weaker version of his old passive and this is literally the first video I've seen a Anubis perform noticeably well.

@@xc3lsi0r16 that's what I said. His old passive stole prots (aka pen and prots) and boosted lifesteal for each tick of dmg dealt along with CCR always. So his new passive is just far worse than his old passive and doesn't particularly do much tankiness wise, doesn't improve his dmg either just gives a small amount of sustain when very low.

I think they need some smoothing out on his ult it still feel a little laggy to me or the delay just doesn’t feel as responsive. For some reason many abilities in the game have a similar feeling. One thing I am loving though is the time to kill is just right I think. Still hard to get used to that everyone has beads

I don’t see at all how cooldown rate is better than just cooldown percentage. One tells you exactly what you’re getting, I would definitely prefer the very straightforward % over the rate.

It's less clear, but I think it's more balanced. With CDReduction, the more you get, the more powerful it is, which incentivizes (or borderline requires) getting a bunch of it. With CDRate, it's less powerful, so you have to commit harder to getting a bunch of it. For example, let's look at going from 0 to 20 to 40 CDReduction vs CDRate on an ability with a 10 second cooldown. With CDReduction, the cooldown goes from 10 to 8 to 6 seconds. That means you can use it 1.25x as often with 20, and 1.67x as often with 40. With CDrate, the cooldown goes from 10 to 10*(1/1.2)=8.3 seconds to 10*(1/1.4)=7.1 seconds. Or if you flip these, you can use the ability 1.2x as often with 20 CDR, and 1.4x as often with 40 CDR. So in some ways it's a more consistent effect as you build it, rather than ramping up significantly at the end.

Are you going to be able to cap you FPS in Smite 2? Its abysmal not being able to cap it in Smite 1, or if you can i havent found it. Having my FPS fluctuate between 100 and 150 is useless when i could just cap it at 60 and have a far far better time.

I started capping my FPS in every game through the Nvidia setings (assuming you run a Nvidia GPU, if not AMD might have it too I dunno). Go into setting > Manage 3D settings > add program. Hope this helps.

@@TRIPPA99 my Nvidia Battery boost says its limited to 35 FPS but that doesn't impact SMITE or atleast doesn't when laptop is on charge. I dont see any manage 3D settings anywhere

The minor delay in Anubis’ ult cast takes out a lot of damage because it gives mummify an extra half second of stun time reduction before the damage from his ult combo goes off. As evident by Zeus getting away everytime.

I don't think so, in the live stream they said they calculated out the initial burst of damage so that it's equal to the total damage that would've been done had the animation/delay not been there. Mummify will still guarantee you get that initial damage plus a bit more

Is CDR just shite then? Like no point aiming for it cause youll never reach the same as the old games, no more good CD builds (and objectively this makes AA characters even stronger cause you are less likely to get multiple ability cycles off in a fight)? Just build 1 CDR item, maybe johtuns or chronos and then ignore the stat?

Damn why did they nerf him so badly? He can't even clear lane with his one or kill an enemy god before he get's his ult? What is this garbage. In Smite one you could wrap, circle, and spray an enemy down by level 3 for a kill.
