Dude was living a normal life for the past 15 years. Away from Hollywood and its stresses. He's been raising his kids over that time period as well. Have you ever seen somebody who works every week, consistently, for just a year let alone 10? Their physical appearance changes drastically. Also have you ever met someone you went to high school with become a completely different person 5 or 6 years later? Yea that same effect happened to Dave. Its called LIFE. Man we've got grown men out here thinking like children. As if y'all were living in Neverland.

This is the most ignorant generation in history. We have all of this technology and we live saturated with information, but many have forgotten how to think. We live in a scientific era, and people are still controlled by superstition and unfortunately supposition. Ridiculous reasoning if we can call it reasoning. Actually it is the lack of reasoning. Memory is a facility that defies any cloning ideology. Please stop the absurdity.

@American Deity 14 years is not a few. It is incredible that you would attempt to defend stupidity. People have gained over 100 pounds in 2 years. We don't see things as they are. We see them as we are. Stupid is, as stupid does. You are talking about cloning and you flunked your science courses. Never took embryology or genetics or cellular biology. Just because the internet exists, doesn't make you an authority. What you are claiming is impossible.

@@herbertnelsonjr.9899 Well said brother. People don't believe in the transformation of the mind. Human beings are SUPPOSED to evolve( spiritually, mentally and physically). Coming up in NYC I've seen PLENTY of people (gun slingers, convicted felons, street people) evolve to well spoken, well groomed and behaviorally more civilized and mannered. This isn't cloning! It's a transformative experience that non-spiritual people who are linear in their thinking can not perceive. Respect to you sir/brother.

Thank you WCCO- CBS Minnesota for this opportunity to watch and listen to Mr. Chappelle in 2020. I gather a wealth of knowledge from what he brings both on and off the stage. If I pay close attention and close my eyes, I simply hear a man that loves life despite all the negativity that he has been and will continue to be subjected to. He vividly remembers an unkind past and sums up the mental strength to relive those memories because he is asked to share his perspective. If anything his facial expressions and body language is not indicative of paranoia. To me, it is more like he is processing the past, present, and future simultaneously and reserves his voice to speak with deeper incite, clarity, and sincerity.

True comedians have a mental depth that is directly related to their profession, and can be suprisingly sincere. Chappelle is not only quite intelligent, but in tune with his own awareness of what is true, and gifted with the aptitude to ARTICULATE it [with his own signature style]. Also, good comedians are, actually, quite sober (serious) people. Comedy is a flavored delivery of the truth.

What the helli is all this BS about him being a clone? Are you f***ing serious? You all freak out about his voice...well he aged and he put on weight. Not everybody stays the same like Denzel or Pharrell lol. It's surprising to see how people judge his voice and not what he actually says. The wisdom is the same Dave Chappell we knew +10 years of experience. The wit, and the wisdom and the original perspective is all there. You want to hear how he spoke&sounded off stage 15 years ago? Watch a bloody beginning and ending to his HBO Comedy Half Hour and you'll realise it hasn't changed that much. He used a higher pitched voice in his acts, that doesn't mean it was "his" actual voice. F***cking clones...can't wait for Dave to do a sketch about it. Reading all these comments makes me understand why Trump won this election...people are completely deranged by absurd conspiracy theories.
