Federal transportation dollars are reconnecting some of Denver's most neglected neighborhoods, generations after Globeville Elyria Swansea were split apart by I-70 and rail lines.
Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg came to Denver to tour the project - building pedestrian bridges and safer railroad crossings - trying to mend harm done to those communities by government decisions.
We also talk to Secretary Buttigieg about whether the Biden administration's electric vehicle goals are unrealistic outside wealthy areas and the I-70 express lanes that are only open part of the time.
