I absolutely adore this woman/Judge! Her demeanor in her courtroom is stellar. She is more than fair, so professional and clear headed. She has character heart and compassion. The Nasser case was tremendously heartbreaking, she was the perfect honorable judge to oversee these testimonies and keep the courtroom under control. I was so moved by her reactions to things that could've ignited controversy or anger, especially Nassers letters. She dealt calmly and rationally with that monster. She was sensitive to the victims and the parents. I think she's a warrior! Thank you Judge Aquilina for being an inspiration to so many!

In the nassar case she was beyond unprofessional… he did terrible things but a good judge should not be overwhelmed by emotions like that. we are in a civil and democratic country. the sentence was fair, simply I don’t approve of the attitude she had in court.

She is so inspiring, it gives me hope that one day society and the justice system will progress towards equality for all. Please people, if you are inspired by Judge Aquilina, get involved in voting for local legislators that can enact progress and equality for everyone in each election, not just national elections.

Most important message "me too is not a female movement. It's a human movement". Too many are excluding boys and men from the conversation. Alienating half the population in such an important issue is a gigantic mistake. It's about openness, blanket opinion about our male population is dangerous to all of us.

She's definitely an April baby, even if she may be a Taurus instead of an Aries like myself. Her personality and character is remarkable, and I think people notice that about her. There's a certain outstanding quality about celebrities and the renowned that is hard to define, and Judge Rosemarie Aquilina definitely has that. If I were an innocent party in her court, I'd feel protected, but if I were a guilty criminal in her court, I'd be terrified of her!

No one would doubt Judge Aquilina made the right judgment in the Inmate Nassar case-but so would any rational person. Didn't she say she would only speak to the media *together with a victim* after the case? She spends nearly this entire interview talking about herself! And (5:46) "Nassar was bad... but I have heard far worse," Really? Being thrown down the stairs is worse than countless children being sexually abused for 30 years?

@melissafellows1822 жыл бұрын
Everybody is praising this woman for what she did to Larry Nassar and calling her a hero, but I think sentencing someone to over 100 years in prison is crazy and unnecessary. You can sentence people without going overboard with it. 30 years would be a good enough punishment for a serious crime. In my opinion, 30 years should be the maximum sentence for a serious crime and not any longer than that. That is a good enough punishment for somebody to learn a lesson. I believe people should also have another chance in life instead of being locked up forever.
@melissafellows1822 жыл бұрын
@Florida, Hawaii & Australia fan I understand what you are saying. At least if someone is sorry for what they did, you could have a little sympathy for them. But if they don't regret one single thing they did, then you can't feel sorry for them. I have to say that even for as gruesome as his crimes were, 100 years in prison is a little much considering the fact that the majority of people don't even live for 100 years. Larry is already 58 years old, so he will probably be dead in 30 years anyway or maybe sooner.

@@bellswhistles-2083 her personal emotion is make sense, so what kind of human can be emotionless to tha facts and horrible things he did? damn. Not to mention, law and court based off of a common sense and human right. So you got no point there.
@takerkellygiveusbacktupac6172 жыл бұрын
He pled guilty and said he did those things so the burden of impartiality was lifted by the time it came to sentencing + they use case law and precedent to determine sentencing guidelines so there is zero need to have a judge who has no compassion for people determining their fates. Saying only psychopaths should be judges isn't the flex you think it is. You either don't understand what a psychopath is or you're a predator upset by her empathy for the victims
