Go look at the first 5 fights of "sweet science boxers" careers and tell me who they're fighting? You'll realize how quickly some of your favorite boxers were padding their record with guys who were only "professional boxers" by technicality. The only guys who faced serious competition earlier in their career were guys with historic amateur backgrounds. People just move the needle for Jake and set a standard that never really existed in the sport for other guys. Tank's first 8 fights had a combined record of 10 wins and 29 losses, with 3 of them being the opponent's debut. Try not to be so naïve.

Tank did cherry pick his opponents, but he is the real deal. I mean, if Tank fought past Prime MMA fighters when he first started, then it would have been KO’scin the first round. Tank has been fighting since he was a little kid. The skills are there even when he turned Pro. For Jake’s weight class, he wouldn’t even survive someone who was solid boxer or someone who was past prime.
