Great shooting and open sights at that! Our range has foam backing also and staples just don't cut it. There is a thing called target pins or something like that. Didn't feel like buying them so I made my own out of wire clothes hanger. Sharpened the tip abit so they go through the cardboard easy. About 2 inches long and they stay put. 😊

Thanks! I'll have to check those out. Usually the staples work with paper targets, but the cardboard was a bit too thick.

Very good, I was thinking pistol but the front sights are huge on a Q tip. 👍 Glad you did something other than powered scope and rifle . 🕺🏻👍🇺🇸

That’s good shooting. I don’t have a Beretta 92 but I like how they shoot. I was thinking a 1911 was best case unless I had a 500 mag:)

Thanks, Jeff! The 92s are really enjoyable to shoot. I almost like the trigger better than a 1911. A 500 would give you more surface area to hit with, thats for sure! Haha

@@TinManReloading I’ve been busy defending my home, the Sheriff came here at 2300 Thursday with an evacuation order but the wife & I declined along with one neighbor…we elected to stay. He & I have cleared our properties & have the water & pumps & generators to fight any spot fires, like roof fires. Both of us have sprinklers on the roof. This place is a ghost town now, if we go out for anything, they will not let us return so we’re dug in for the duration. Might be another week before anyone can come and go. The fire called the Mosquito Fire is still not controlled and has consumed 40K acres…it is 15 miles from me on the East but the prevailing winds keep it moving North and South primarily so long as that stays the rule, I think I’ll win…if not…I don’t know, I’d hate to quit this fight and come back to ashes! Wish me luck and get the Gang to pray for us all. I can’t get on TRN with this iPad as my desktop is in the Geek Squad so I haven’t let anyone know the situation. Tried to shoot this morning but it’s so smokey I couldn’t breathe so I’m hold up inside. Take care hope you & family are well…CharlieBrassStuffer

You did pretty well with both pistols I would say. the reason why I was shooting left was that I needed a shorter trigger, with the long trigger I was pushing the front sight to the left because of the way the shoe of the trigger rested on my trigger finger as I squeezed the trigger, the more the pressure to brake the sear, the harder I needed to press and when the gun went off the sight was to the left, thus, the shot landed to the left. The trigger needs to be pulled straight to the rear of the frame as much as possible when shooting, that's why I don't like Ruger revolvers, the same thing, where your hand is in conjunction with the relationship(Finger and palm in the backstrap). Anyway,, That's my two cents dude.. -Dave
