I have had to resort to Audiobooks which I love! I also suffer acute Anxiety and Depression for over 30 years so I live a very quiet life now! I am so pleased you don't have Commercials 🙄🙄 as I have come across quite afew Utube channels who do! I only have a mobile 📱 phone no Laptop or other device! I also love ❤ your black screen! I just have a question….is this available to everyone, not just your drift off subscribers? Because I have only loved the Little House in the Big Woods book and I wish so much you would do whole series…I cannot relate to the old world fairy tales. If I am paying $5 a month just because I love that full chapter audiobook and hoping for something more…apparently I can hear for free on You Tube. If I am wrong, let me know. I so love your voice and appreciate your talent. I would pay even more for more diverse stories.

hello and thank you for your lovely comment! Yes the audiobooks are also here on KZbin however there are ads on KZbin. And as of Nov 1/23 KZbin will be in full control of where ads get placed on videos. This means a loud ad could land in the middle of a story which can be very startling if you are using it to fall asleep. Up until Nov 1 creators had full control over where to place ads on their monetized videos and in my case, I always make sure ads are only 'pre-roll' but now I won't have a say and cannot guarantee there will be no ads mid video. I believe KZbin is doing this to encourage listeners to get KZbin premium (($13.99/month). My Drift Off premium podcast is geared for those who want complete ad-free and intro free listening, and they want access to 2 bonus episodes per month and most importantly they want to support the work I do :) I hope this makes sense?
