Hi Mike, I love what your doing and its been very helpful during lock down. However I do have one suggestion, it would be nice, especially for frequent viewers, if you could include time stamps for things like complicated techniques and fills. I love what your doing and i hope you keep it up. Sincerely, some one who couldn't need this more.

Cheers man. That’s a very good idea - I’ll be honest though, I probably don’t have time to add all those for each vid as well as making the videos, uploading plus everything else at present! But feel free to add them yourself in comments if you think they’d be useful and I’ll pin the comment. Cheers! :)

I've looked at copious vids on the 'dotted' 16th, Mike as per bar 8. Is it me, or is complicated to understand at first? I think it's to do with extending the note, and I guess one has to count the 16th by missing out 2 and 3, or is there an easier way? I've got the grooves nailed, but the fills have yet to be mastered. Thanks as ever.

Hi Paul, I described that figure in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aWbKqXivrt6rfKM And it also features in my Grade 3 level rhythm figure workout video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/m5XIaYRtmrN7Zsk A dot after a note is like saying the phrase "and a half" - half the notes' value is added on again. So an undotted, regular eight note is equal in value to two 16ths (it last for the duration of "1e"), whereas a dotted 8th note lasts for three 16ths (it lasts for the duration of "1e+"). You're then just left with the adjoined 16th note that accounts for the "a". Cheers! :)

Just a thought to would-be Kravitz krashers, Mike. Those who remember Pearl & Dean's advert intro at cinemas back in the day will know the bar 28 fill. I simply copied P&D here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/f6DQXppnmMd6sKs and got the same result.
