Yes they are. Leg locks will have to be taught from very early on in the future in my opinion. What you think? White Belts are learning/training leg locks at my gym

1) clinical guard pass 2) immediate mount 3) maintains head control through the counter attack from the guard 4) goes all in on the slighest opening 5) gets the matter-of-fact tap like a blue-belt boss; AND he just got promoted to purple belt o.0

"Blue belt" yeah for sure. It makes no sense for him to be blue, at least brown since IBJJF wouldn't allow black and AOJ follows what they say
@coreydrum7956

i see what you are saying, but dude is 16 and has a chance to make a legit career out of this. best way to do that is win the worlds at every colour. which he can totally do by the time he is 18-19.
@jasonrentaponga7805
@jasonrentaponga7805 3 жыл бұрын
Wait the kid who submitted Panda is a blue belt? Dear Lord! And yes the future of young kids who are black belt level by the time they turn 16 and earn their blue belt is just crazy. They shouldn't be blue belt but wouldn't that benefit their journey in competitions? It just sucks for any normal blue belt that gets matched up with one of these phenoms.
@ThruTheWire2
@ThruTheWire2 3 жыл бұрын
@@coreydrum7956 for his career?? Lol, dude already beat geovanni Martinez yet people still want him to win double gold at every color starting with blue. C’mom man. It should be an honor in itself to bypass all those colors and give him his black belt already. Or just let him double gold at brown belt as a Blue belt and then promote him on the podium to black belt. Ridiculous
@coreydrum7956
@coreydrum7956 3 жыл бұрын
@@ThruTheWire2 look, i agree sandbagging students who are clearly studs, by making them win worlds at every belt isn't great for the sport. however, the whole idea of a 'lower belt' beating black belts is great for advertising as well as the blue belt comps just boost his overall win %. these are things that help grow his name and will help his career.
