The soundtrack to this game was extraordinarily awesome. What really made this game was the frickin music and yes the gameplay. So much nostalgia in this game made this a perfect ending to the Mega Man X franchise. Yet.....a brutal ending to what started in the beginning to what came back full circle. I consider this soundtrack a major step up from X4's, as it feels like the techno/electronic feel was executed much better here. Izzy Glow, Duff McWhalen, Axle the Red, Dark Dizzy, both Zero Virus stage themes, X vs Zero, Sigma's phase 1 battle theme... geez, that's a lot of personal faves, but X5 has earned that high number.

The ending theme is one of the most heartfelt game themes ever composed, ive beaten this game countless times and still keep coming back for more. A great game and a big piece of my childhood.
