I think making the subtitles a little larger (if possible), and engaging comments and questions more would make the audience feel more valued; the successful FMAB reactors tend to take a bit more time on the discussion, and include pre and post episode thoughts (funnylilgal, Carlie & Ange, take a peek at their channels). What makes reaction channels fun to watch is the idea that we're watching our favorite shows with 'friends' for the first time. One of the big turnoffs, for me, at least, is your overall lack of an intro and recap on what you watched last (helps us to understand that *you* understand the content, especially if there's a break), so seeing an intro this time was a nice breath of fresh air. Just my two cents. Also, it's a damn good series, and we want you to enjoy it, as well. Preferably with us, but that's ultimately your call to make.

@@downeastbeast6448 I appreciate the feedback! I've actually tried making the subtitles larger - it just didn't work super well. I may need to see how some other people do it (if they do). I do agree with the outro/intro thing though, the reason I stopped intros was because about 80% of people were skipping ahead in the video, so it just didn't make sense to me and I figured I'd just include whatever I thought in the outro. But also...80& of people skip the outro lmao. I agree though, I could be more thorough in my outros, and maybe use that time to predict and talk about the next episode. I'll keep that in mind when I start up my next recordings. The next 10 are already done.

You can be comforted to hear that Views Do Come with this series. I’ve watched multiple reactors and they’ve all said the same thing. That people don’t catch on quick. I think it’s because most of us, Know When The Action Starts, so we WAIT to start watching til the Best Episodes have been posted. And this is one of them! Well. This and Ninas episode aren’t so much Action as CRIPPLING SADNESS WE MUST SEE YOU REACT TO. Oh please keep going. Fans of the show love a FULL REACT even if we’re prone to binge than Regular Viewership. It let us rewatch the show in earnest with a fresh perspective.

The first halve of the show is more or less buildup, with a few episodes that peak viewers like 4 and 10, the second halve is more or less twists and turns and action, where a lot of viewers will pick up on.

People tend to watch/wait for the EPIC episodes. For example, take a note of how many views Episode 2 got (the backstory of Ed & Al’s human transmutation), Episode 4 (The NinAlexander), and this one (💔). It’ll pickup as the show picks up 👍

If you like anime, I think it'd worth it to keep watching. It's relatively short(for anime) and the pacing is really quick. It's the only anime where I've thought: Man, how did that have more anime hype than the last episode? for 20 episodes or so.

I don't remember the last time I commented on a youtube video, but I just wanted to say I hope you continue the series. Ever since I started watching your channel I really enjoy your personality and reactions. I hope views pickup, I personally am fine with the concise intro and outros as I am guilty of skipping long outros on some other reaction channels, and I like your midway subscribe cards you do on your videos. I honestly can't think of how you could majorly change your editing or style to increase views. I hope the algorithm picks your videos up soon I can't imagine why they wouldn't be getting more views. The videos always pop up in my recommend page a few hours after posting.

If the only thing that decides if you continue this or not is "likes and comments", definitely don't continue. Begging for likes and comments is just tragic.

It's a business decision. Likes and comments get a video promoted in the algorithm, which gets the video more views, which earn him enough money from advertising to be worth the time spent recording and editing the reaction. If it doesn't make enough money, it's not worth continuing, and the only way for us viewers to change that is to increase engagement.
