The greatest part of this video is at the end where Sgt. Hartman is singing the Imperial March. The crazy thing is I did not have to modify the pitch in any way. He sings the notes perfectly in Full Metal Jacket!

As a Marine I can verify that yes drill instructor walk around calling cadence by them selves sometimes just for practice, so having gunny Vader walking around calling cadence just for the hell of it is pretty accurate, it’s sort of the marines version of whistling or humming

Nah, R. Lee Ermey was awesome and may he rest in peace..but nothing will ever top the original Darth Vader hallway scene in Rogue One. A dark hallway, Vader's breathing, no talking, lightsaber ignites, and then he unleashed hell on a hallway full of rebels. So perfect and completely badass. R. Lee Ermey's classic and memorable quotes actually made it worse..but it was only meant for the comedy of it..not to be taken seriously, obviously.
