To say you’re human is totally understandable; we all are. Yet to defiantly state you won’t apologize for it, in an attempt to mitigate the myriad number of mistakes made during this case, is not. To do so, and in your very next breath proceed to blame the defense team, crime scene photos (which the defense did NOT leak despite your alluding as such) and social media for this fiasco is beyond disgusting. To THEN publicly indict the defense team for a death is downright slanderous, let alone unprofessional. Your praise of judge Gull, who ended up covering investigatory failures - whether intentionally or not - with the gag order, exclusionary rulings, and (worst of all) a closed trial, only lent itself to more collusion conspiracies; it didn’t quell them. Continuing your speech by angrily chastising those who dared to question the court’s seemingly biased process and your handling of the case, by arrogantly saying if you didn’t like the outcome you can leave the country is simply outrageous and is the antithesis of what our judicial system is supposedly based on. If the pressures of this horrific case have burdened you to the point of your needing to accuse and insult those who defied or even questioned your methods, you should probably consider retiring if you haven’t already done so.
