You're a great inspiration to me and your mentality overall is very good, but I feel like Korea is taking a toll on your mentality. Feels like you're very stressed and on the edge of tilting in nearly all of the korea videos. I want to add that I am not a stream watcher so maybe your videos coincidentally make it seem worse than it is. Korean server is really problematic in a lot of ways to begin with (particularly their ff culture which is even more frustrating for someone like Azzapp than it already normally is) and if you add that to the fact that most western streamers go over there for basically just one reason it really compounds the frustration. It's a lot easier to tolerate shitty gameplay and unfortunate events the more other things you have going on in life. At home you can just focus on the rest of your life, but if you dedicate an entire trip to Korea to a specific league purpose it's a lot harder to cope when things don't go how you'd like. Best wishes Azzapp and I hope you can keep up the positive mental! I know it must be a struggle but you're doing great!

When your true dmg scaling on Ap is higher than your magic pen scaling on your abilities, but you still go for magic pen. True challenger mindset! Always handicap yourself, especially with itemization!! Imagine getting 63% winrate in challenger instead of 60%, we wouldn't want that. Remember, there are always better people than you, even if you're rank 1 ;)

How do you decide which item / runes / sums you should take in each game? either mid or sup btw I recently started playing vel'koz because of you and i can't manage to understand your choices on these parts. I also want to thank you for 2 things. First i finally have a known voice going the way i go since i started to play the game, the never ff mentality. Second playing vel'koz and looking at your videos finally made me improve in game. I always played like a dumbass, fighting whenever i had the opportunity, never watching what was happening on the map and even not caring about my builds, just using what in-game apps recommand me. That was the way i liked to play but it wasn't working that well in games. Now i'm forced to play more passive and more team oriented always caring about what is important to do right now, what i can do to make the team win and i really feel like i'm improving. I even played with friends on other roles than mid vel'koz and there was a real difference in the way i approach the game and the plays. I really want to thank you for that. I hope you will read this comment and that you will answer either on video or directly with an answer. Either way i'll be there to learn how to make better decision.

Can someone help me understand the magic pen comment? I thought magic pen helped you overcome MR-as in, it’s what you should get if people are building MR. But Azzapp said his magic pen was useless since the enemy was building MR. If they’re building MR, doesn’t magic pen become MORE helpful? What am I missing here?

Flat pen ve %pen, if they have no mr (lets say 50) them 18pen is alot more valuable than if they have 200. But if they have 200 youll want %pen, as that reduces 80 mr. (But if they have 50 , then it reduces 20) so buying flat pen against someone stacking mr, is essentially useless. Same goes for lethality and armor pen
