That looks WAY better than the original. I think the only thing to make this better would be to have NES chiptune versions of the Bernstein's "Arrival at the Library/The Stairs" melody for the stairs section, "Cleanin' Up the Town" melody for the driving stages, and "Savin' the Day" melody plays in the driving stage up to the Zuul building.

That sound effect of the ghost going in to Ecto-1 is the same as the death sound from the NES version of a New Hope. I also love the fact it’s using the sprits the from the New Ghostbusters 2 game.

I LOVE THIS GAME! The only criticism I have is that I wish there was different music and that there was a lot more variety like in The NES ghostbusters 2 game and Sega version. Fun fact: the original game was made from an unreleased racing game which explains the driving scenes and the gas barrels. Keep up the good work Jason, you really are “the heart” of the ghostbusters community. 👻🚫

So I just downloaded this and was giving it a shot last night. Wow they amped this game up like 100%. Its not only better but its FASTER too. Its pretty ruthless in the run I made where Stay Puft was just destroying the city incredibly fast. I never had that happen on the original. Its rock solid to an old head of the original game but damn they went HARD on the pavement with how fast you gotta play.

Those graphics are A MASSIVE UPGRADE from the NES original. They're almost close to being near the SEGA Master System version. The gameplay runs REALLY smooth too. The music should be better.

I'm a little disappointed we never get to see a revised version of Staypuft on the opposite side of the building, or Winston on the stairs (but that would add to the hitbox of the three characters now being four, unless the three Ghostbusters were randomized). But everything else is a huge improvement!

Well, it's much more visually appealing now and they fixed all the horrendous typos, but it still sucks as much balls as it did back then. I really hope that someone takes this remaster, and improves all the features in this game, like changing the music every time you enter a different stage, or making it so that during the stairwell level the ghosts scroll with the background instead of the frame every time it moves up.

I never played this version but I think I used to own the Sega version. If I recall correctly, in that one, it let you buy different cars. The Ecto, a yellow Beatle looking car, and a red sports car.

Ghostbusters the video game for the old Xbox 360 has been remade for Xbox One and PS4 and it looks way better

Got to be the worst game ever made, they just put out any shite and stick the ghostbusters name on it, hated this game as a kid and still do as an adult
