5:15 In the Japanese version, Piccolo says it will only take 5 seconds to defeat him before attacking him, and then when Goku blocks him and throws him out, Goku responds: "The 5 seconds have passed a long time ago". And also for some manga trivia, Piccolo originally have 4 fingers in the manga, cause number 4 is seen as a bad luck number in Japan I think, so considering he is the Demon King Piccolo, it have all that symbolic behind. And the moment where he says it will only take 5 seconds to defeat Goku, we can see 5 fingers in the manga panel instead of 4.

The King also appears in the Cell saga watching the Cell Games on TV and recognizes Goku even with the blonde hair, and had said "once a young boy had come defeat King Piccolo, let's have faith that him or someone like him is out there to save us once again" he also 100% doubted Satan beat Cell

Toriyama did actually not forgot about Launch in DBZ (though he later forgot that he didnt forget)- he wrote her out on purpose. However, he did state in later interviews that Launch lived with Tien and Chiaotzu on their farm for a short while (but left cause she hates farming) and still visits a lot. In one instance he even said Tien and Launch might've gotten together eventually (but he doesnt set it in stone)

@@mr.e7541 HE left lanch to go and train in kami's palace after learning goku's death with raditz! also shows her again when vegita fights goku first time, she learn that he died from the tv in a bar while she was drinking, and then an earthquake from vegita's power happend and she came out! and show her again in genki dama in buu's ark! she went out from a car and lift her hands up!
