Mate I watched every minute of your last few days worth of work, you're a grafter. Works quality are really inspired me to get stuck into my own projects, except coving, ain't touching that! I do think you gave away some time but as you say, we all learn. Guys here in Manchester would have changed about 10-15% more than your total and practically no one will let you buy your own materials as they make a decent mark up on that too. This is if you can even find a carpenter who's not booked. Keep grafting and I'll stay tuned.

Im 14 years old, and I want to be a carpenter so I’ve been watching videos so I could, become a bit better at building! I’ve always wondered what I wanted to be when I am older, and I think this is it! Keep up the work, and Godbless you!! ☺️

easy could have charged double for the coving. For plaster coving we generally charge £1800 per rooom on average 7x 3 m lengths. I know poly coving is very cheap but the labour and finish is the same.

The quality of your work does appear to be improving all the time, well done! Don’t ever be embarrassed about how much you charge, the client has employed you to do the job because they can’t do it. They are paying for your skill and ability, not an hourly rate. 👍 The only concessions I ever make is for the older people who are obviously not very well off.

Unless there’s accessories on the other side of that stud wall the cables were not in cable zones by the looks of it. Lucky escape and a bad electrical install when it went in.

Once you total a job up and where you use both the apprentice and another carpenter can you advise how much you pay each? Or can you advise how you will go about paying them so i can know what to expect roughly. Other than that great video as always. 💪🏾

You seriously need a pricing structure Taymar 🤣🤣 some things under charged for sure. Crown moulding imo is 400-600£ a room depending on quality (yours was done to a high standard imo)
@Joe-jv5mm7 ай бұрын
Your right about the Crown Molding, Way to Cheap for that High finish! Double your Price working over stairs/@ Hight, internal/ external Cut's Time Consuming ( up and down from a ladder/hop up) from the Plastering Trade , Slows you Way Down 👏👏
