I stripped some gear teeth in my HLA 56 by getting carried away and cutting too thick branches when out hedge cutting .I repaired the machine myself with a new gear (Easy enough to fit and seems to be ok still ) I now tend to just use it on the lighter trimming jobs then get the petrol one out for thicker material .My mates HLA 56 is making an awful noise now so think thats the gear going as well . He will often cut thicker wood too .Just be careful .

Same yeah thats what I do. I use my stihl kombi for heavier work

Where do you put the hedge cuttings. Do you leave them with the customer to dispose off? Cheers and all the best for this year. Really appreciate your videos.

Depends mate. I always offer a price without and with waste. If they need me to take away I'll bag it up and charge them appropriately depending on how much waste. Glad you're enjoying them 👍

I want to trim a Holly tree but it's quite tall to get at the very top at about 20ft from ground so it's not a hedge but a tree.

what size battery did you to get a 45 min run time?

Hi there, it only used 1 bar (out of 4) for this 45 min job. So it wasn't a full battery only lasting 45 mins 👍
