The Feedback Frequency slider is extremely important on iRacing. What it does is it gets the 60Hz signal from iRacing and upsamples it to a higher frequency, making it feel smoother and more detailed. It's like using iRFFB but done at the driver level which reduces latency tremendously. In order to feel the difference this does I suggest the following test: 1. Load up Sebring or Long Beach (something very bumpy) in iRacing with a stiff car (try Formula 4 or something similar); 2. Move Smoothness and Damper to 0; 3. Move Frequency to 0; 4. Notice how the FFB feels; 5. Move Frequency to 9; 6. Notice how the FFB is much smoother;

I installed my Simagic Alpha Mini, P1000 pedals and FX Pro wheel today, and this video series was highly beneficial. LMU feels like a different game compared to my Fanatec CSL DD.

What settings did you land on in LMU

Great series of videos, perfect timing too as I got the fantastic GT Neo last month and the Alpha is supposedly going to be delivered today from RaceAnywhere. One thing to note though; the maximum torque for the current v3 version of the Alpha has been measured at 18.5Nm so quite a lot more than the advertised 15Nm!

I'm guessing game settings are the strength of those effects as given by the game. Whereas mechanical settings are independent of the game. Essentially an additive feedback effect to the game signal. Did you find it anymore about the frequency? Does zero give native frequency for example? So ACC would be 400hz? It won't ever limit your ffb frequency right, it might only ever try to interpolate to increase. Just bought my alpha and looking forward to trying it out

I'm on Alpha Mini and GT Neo after taking advantage of the bundle with the PSR3 rig. I'm very happy. I just leave it at 10Nm and have just started experimenting with the other sliders. The 300mm wheel is ao much better than my old Fanatec V2 Formula wheel. I came from DD1 of 3 years, and the Alpha Mini is smoother and has enough torque for me in GTE/GT3/LMP2/HY cars. Thanks for the 3-part video.

I just got the alpha mini, gt neo and p1000 bundle the other day. Haven’t had much time the last few days to mess around on it but just curious what your settings are? I’ve messed around with them a bit and I’m either clipping or it’s too low. Do you mind sharing your settings?

Just installed and setup my new simagic gear alpha gt neo and p1000 I bought from you guys 😄 🙌🏻 Thjs video great in helping with the base settings 😎😄 I have an issue calibrating brake though once calibrated and goes back to the main pedal page when testing and pressing the brake it never reaches 100% stops at 99%? No matter how hard I press? Any idea what’s causing this? This is the loadcell option when I switch it to angle it shows 100% ? I realise this is a force feedback video but I’m at a loss as to what’s causing this any help would be much appreciated 😎🙏🏻

Thanks a lot, it was very helpful, just one question, do you have any plan to talk about the IRacing FFB settings? how much should be the Strength, I do not like that much the auto setting from IRacing as I always for me set to something low which looks like driving on air :D btw I have the same wheelbase with 15Nm

Thank you very much for sharing these tutorials friend! Very well explained. I bought alpha 15nm + GT NEO. Could you help me with a situation? I was unable to configure the second shift pedals with the second clutch and the bite point. That would be for iracing.

Try restarting the game and or taking your wheel off and reconnecting it
