I followed those videos without setting up rates and expo and my flight performance was horrible. But this video allowed me to fill in those areas and get it just right. Thank you, thank you, thank you. And in tribute, my radio now boots up with a sound file of your voice that says "The real sexy Radiomaster TX16".

I discovered you can bind quickly between the Tx16s and the P51 with a flick of a switch instead of having to scroll through the model setup menu and choose "bind" every time you want to fly the model. The throttle must be at -100. I copied your reset timer switch using switch SH so I couldn't use the momentary switch, so I used the middle position of SB. (Edit - I found switch SH can be used as a bind as well as a timer reset) You must first check/set bind on channel in the model setup page, then program a logical switch that checks the throttle is off/safe. Then in model settings 'mixer screen' scroll down to channel 16 and apply your logical switch to channel 16. Full instructions at multi-module.org/using-the-module/binding Good luck 🙂

It was a tough decision choosing my first programable radio. It came down to RM TX16S or the Spektrum NX8. I went with the NX8 but had it been delayed to market any longer I'm sure I would have been very happy with getting the TX16S. So, Pilot Robert I'm guessing you'll stick with Spektrum for all the Spektrum receiver planes and use the TX16S for the other planes and perhaps even s backup for your Spektrum radios. 👍👍😊😊 CONGRATS !! You have gone where many before you didn't have the courage to go .. 😉👊👊 Considering your subscriber base - you probably did more for OTX than many of us with just babbling on forums .. Like Taranis X9D many years ago - TX16S is "best value for money" now - and I have one also.. P.S. There is something in development now - new radio and OS (X20 and Ethos) . After thousands years of written word - we are progressing back to pictures from caves again .. 🙃 Just kidding of course - it should have very nice color touch screen with nice picture menus - and yet still keeping the power of OTX. The latest discussion was - users without previous knowledge of OTX are needed - because all of us old users - we are biased already and comparing everything to OTX .. And now - you are "damaged " too .. 😜🤣 P.P.S. I think you already did this - but just in case - it is very important .. Be very careful when assigning something to 3 pos switch - ALL 3 positions MUST be defined - because as you said - it doesn't presume anything .. Search for "catchall line" - if you didn't already ..👊

I never thought I could do this, but did you get the P51-d to fly OK ? When I tried it everything seemed OK but although the Elevator moved it could not be centred to the position that the eaChine Tx had been using. The Radiomaster Tx Elevator trim could not move the centre position enough so I tried adjusting the centre position on the Inputs menu, and even tried Extended Limits (Setup Screen) with the Output menu setting of + & - 150% on the Elevator channel. Sadly nothing allowed the planes elevator to have the same centre, full up and full down positions that the eaChine Tx produced. So it's back to the eaChine Tx for now. Fantastic work though guys, and really enjoy watching your channel.

O it flies perfect. I have even filmed maiden with T28 yesterday on Radiomaster. But for trimming I select no gyro and then trimm as much as I can manualy. I have at first trimmed the elevator by radio but then had no more up elevator left.

@@PetrincicBrosRC Thanks for replying. My P51 flew very well with the factory Tx but so far I still can't get the elevator centre position set (no gyro) with the Radiomaster. I'll have to keep experimenting.
